Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state licensure or eligibility as an SLP
- Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred; CFY candidates with strong pediatric backgrounds are encouraged to apply
- Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting highly desirable
- Knowledge of Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) devices and strategies
- Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Collaborative spirit and strong communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat elementary students with a broad spectrum of speech, language, and communication disorders
- Incorporate AAC devices into therapy and educational planning
- Develop and deliver evidence-based interventions tailored to students with complex needs
- Collaborate with educators, special education professionals, and families to foster optimal student outcomes
- Maintain detailed documentation and progress reports in line with school and legal requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to multidisciplinary teams
