Qualifications:
- Active Speech-Language Pathologist license or eligibility for licensure
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) in progress/completed
- Experience in pediatric, healthcare, or school-based settings highly valued
- Comfort and skill working with AAC devices and limited-verbal or nonverbal students
- Excellent communication, organization, and collaborative skills
- Positive, patient, and flexible approach with students and teams
Duties:
- Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for elementary students with significant communication challenges
- Design and implement individualized therapy plans focused on functional and academic communication outcomes
- Integrate evidence-based practices and AAC strategies to support student success
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, parents, and outside professionals to ensure consistent and effective interventions
- Maintain meticulous documentation and progress tracking for each student
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of student goals
