Remote Speech Language Pathologist in FL
Fort Myers Beach, FL
Provide specialized speech-language pathology services through teletherapy in a dynamic school setting serving students from kindergarten through 12th grade. This contract position offers the opportunity to deliver effective communication support across multiple schools in the Fort Myers Beach and Naples, FL areas, including Golden Gate City and Immokalee.
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering direct speech therapy services via teletherapy to students with diverse needs.
- Completing detailed Individualized Education Program (IEP) documentation with accuracy and timeliness.
- Participating in IEP meetings virtually to collaborate on student progress and goals.
- Adhering to all licensing and credentialing requirements, including maintaining an active Florida Department of Health (DOH) Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license.
- Ensuring fingerprint clearance and obtaining necessary district credentials in compliance with state regulations.
- Collaborating across multiple school environments to support consistent and effective therapy services.
Preferred qualifications:
- Prior experience successfully completing teletherapy assignments within school districts is highly valued.
- Strong understanding of virtual service delivery and use of tele-speech technology.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills to manage caseload and documentation remotely.
- Flexibility for full-time or part-time availability up to 35 hours per week.
