Telehealth Speech Language Pathologist - Texas

A contract opportunity is available for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with expertise in telepractice, located in Desoto, TX. This role requires delivering virtual speech therapy services to students within a dynamic and fast-paced school district environment, focused on improving communication skills through teletherapy.
Location: Desoto, TX (VOCO - Virtual Contract) Duration: Immediate start through 5/21/27 Hours: 37.5 hours per week Caseload: Full caseload with possible assignment at one or two schools including high school and elementary levels
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide teletherapy services as a certified SLP, supporting students with individual education plans (IEPs)
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions and time logs to submit for approval
- Collaborate remotely with educational staff and families to ensure effective communication and student progress
- Adapt therapy techniques to meet diverse student needs in a virtual setting
Qualifications and Experience:
- Current Texas SLP licensure with CCC credential
- Experience delivering teletherapy (telepractice) in school settings
- Familiarity with IEP systems, preferably ESPED
- Ability to manage a fast-paced, high caseload effectively
- Strong organizational and communication skills for remote coordination
Work Conditions:
- Telepractice service model; no onsite presence required
- Adherence to school schedules and breaks; compensation applies only for active work hours
- Typically assigned to one school, with potential responsibility across two locations
