Provide virtual speech-language therapy services in a dynamic, fast-paced school district setting in Dallas, TX. This contract role involves delivering high-quality teletherapy sessions to students across one or two schools, managing a substantive caseload, and maintaining detailed weekly timelogs for supervisory approval.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct virtual speech-language pathology sessions in accordance with individual education plans (IEPs).
- Manage a high caseload efficiently while maintaining compliance with district and state regulations.
- Collaborate with school staff and families to support student communication goals.
- Accurately log and report weekly time to the director for approval.
- Adapt therapy plans to meet the needs of various age groups from early childhood through high school.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Valid Texas Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license.
- Certification in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required.
- Experience delivering teletherapy services effectively.
- Proficiency using ESPED or similar IEP management systems.
- Ability to work independently with strong organizational skills.
- Comfort managing multiple school assignments and fast-paced environments.
Work Details:
- Contract position with virtual service delivery.
- Scheduled for 37.5 hours per week.
- Available for assignment at elementary, early childhood, and high school sites.
- Agreement duration through May 21, 2027.
- Attendance during breaks and non-school hours is unpaid.
