Remote Speech Language Pathologist in TX
This contract position offers an opportunity to deliver virtual speech-language services within a dynamic and fast-paced school district setting. The role involves providing teletherapy support as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) licensed in Texas, servicing students across one or two schools.
Location:
- Virtual services supporting schools in the Arlington, TX area
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver teletherapy SLP services to students based on individual educational plans (IEPs)
- Maintain accurate weekly timelogs for submission and approval
- Manage a caseload averaging a full 37.5-hour workweek
- Coordinate and communicate progress with school directors and relevant educational staff
- Adapt instructional methods to meet diverse student needs within a high caseload environment
Qualifications:
- Valid Texas SLP license (CCC credential preferred)
- Experience with teletherapy and virtual speech-language pathology service delivery
- Proficiency in ESPED or similar IEP management systems
- Ability to effectively manage multiple caseloads and prioritize workload within a fast-paced district
- Strong communication and organizational skills
Additional Information:
- Typical caseload consists of one assigned school, with a potential to serve two
- Candidate responsibility includes time tracking; payment is contingent upon documented active service time (no compensation during breaks or non-service time)
