You’ll be working with a caseload of up to 30 students—primarily in Kindergarten through 5th grade—providing high-quality speech-language services. Your expertise will help students develop key communication skills essential for success in the classroom and beyond.
Qualifications & Skills Sought:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active SLP license in the state of South Carolina
- Experience delivering speech-language services in school settings preferred
- Strong evaluation and documentation abilities, with skill in developing and maintaining IEPs
- Knowledge of, or willingness to learn, Ed-plan education platform
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve and support a diverse caseload by providing direct speech-language services to students
- Assess and evaluate students for speech-language eligibility, interpreting results for families and educational teams
- Write and update individualized education plans (IEPs), working collaboratively with teachers, staff, and families
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the Ed-plan platform
- Consult and communicate regularly with educational staff and parents to foster student progress
