Seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist for an engaging part-time contract role supporting students from Kindergarten through 8th grade. This opportunity offers a flexible schedule of 15-20 hours per week across 2-4 days—as decided by your preference—making it ideal for those wishing to balance professional impact with personal needs.
As a key partner in fostering communication skills, you will manage a caseload of up to 30 students, with a primary focus on those in Kindergarten through 5th grade. Your expertise will empower students, staff, and families as you provide direct speech-language therapy, conduct comprehensive evaluations, and craft Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) using the Ed-plan education management platform.
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Current state licensure and ASHA certification (CCC-SLP).
- Previous experience supporting school-age children in educational settings.
- Proficiency with Ed-plan or similar educational software preferred.
- Strong assessment, intervention, and documentation capabilities.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Commitment to culturally responsive and inclusive practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver evidence-based speech-language therapy to eligible students.
- Evaluate students for speech-language eligibility, utilizing standardized assessments and recommendations.
