The role is scheduled through the 2026-2027 school year and serves students primarily in Kindergarten through 5th grade, with some involvement up to 8th grade. You’ll collaborate with educators and families, utilizing the Ed-plan education platform to maximize student progress.
Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state licensure and ASHA certification (CCC-SLP)
- Previous experience working with school-aged children, preferably in a K-8 setting
- Proficiency in administering assessments, evaluating speech-language needs, and developing IEPs
- Familiarity with Ed-plan or similar education case management platforms
- Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
Your Main Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services to a caseload of up to 30 students
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations to determine eligibility for services
- Develop, write, and update Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to student needs
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and administrators to foster student success
- Maintain thorough, timely records in compliance with state and local requirements
- Engage in meetings and professional development as needed
