Speech Language Pathologist in Easley, SC
Bring your expertise and compassion to an engaging contract assignment supporting young learners as a Speech-Language Pathologist. This school-based opportunity offers a balanced schedule of 15-20 hours per week, with the flexibility to set your preferred number of days (between 2-4) to fit your lifestyle. You'll make a meaningful difference for a caseload of up to 30 students, primarily in Kindergarten through 5th grade, with some support also needed for up to 8th grade.
Your skills will be crucial for direct service, evaluations for speech-language eligibility, and developing IEPs that align with student needs. Experience with the Ed-plan education platform is valued, helping streamline assessments and documentation.
What We’re Looking For:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology and current state license
- School-based SLP experience, especially with elementary and/or middle school-aged students
- Confident in conducting comprehensive speech-language evaluations for eligibility
- Strong skills in crafting individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Familiarity with Ed-plan or similar educational documentation systems
- Outstanding communication and collaboration abilities for working with students, teachers, and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language therapy services to students (Kindergarten–8th grade, mostly K–5)
- Assess and evaluate students for speech-language eligibility
- Lead IEP development; participate in annual reviews and meetings as needed
- Maintain accurate records and adhere to special education compliance standards
- Collaborate closely with educators and resource teams to support student progress
