Bring your expertise and compassion to an engaging contract assignment supporting young learners as a Speech-Language Pathologist. This school-based opportunity offers a balanced schedule of 15-20 hours per week, with the flexibility to set your preferred number of days (between 2-4) to fit your lifestyle. Your skills will be crucial for direct service, evaluations for speech-language eligibility, and developing IEPs that align with student needs. Experience with the Ed-plan education platform is valued, helping streamline assessments and documentation.
What We’re Looking For:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology and current state license
- School-based SLP experience, especially with elementary and/or middle school-aged students
- Confident in conducting comprehensive speech-language evaluations for eligibility
- Strong skills in crafting individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Familiarity with Ed-plan or similar educational documentation systems
- Outstanding communication and collaboration abilities for working with students, teachers, and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language therapy services to students (Kindergarten–8th grade, mostly K–5)
- Assess and evaluate students for speech-language eligibility
- Lead IEP development; participate in annual reviews and meetings as needed
- Maintain accurate records and adhere to special education compliance standards
- Collaborate closely with educators and resource teams to support student progress
