Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- Valid SLP license in the state of South Carolina
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Previous experience in a K-8 school environment is a strong plus
- Proficient in conducting speech and language evaluations and developing IEPs
- Familiarity with Ed-plan or similar education platforms
- Strong communication, report writing, and organizational skills
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy to K-8 students, with an emphasis on grades K-5
- Evaluate students for speech-language eligibility and interpret assessment data
- Develop, update, and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Collaborate with educators, support staff, and families to deliver holistic student support
- Maintain accurate records and ongoing documentation within Ed-plan
