Blazer Jobs is actively seeking a dedicated and qualified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a full-time school-based position in Tampa, FL for the 2026–2027 school year. This is an opportunity to support students’ communication development and academic success within a collaborative school environment.
We are looking for a compassionate professional who is committed to providing high-quality speech and language services to students with a range of communication needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct speech-language evaluations and assessments
- Develop and implement individualized speech therapy treatment plans
- Provide direct and indirect therapy services to students
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, special education staff, and related service providers
- Participate in IEP meetings and support goal development and progress monitoring
- Maintain accurate documentation, therapy notes, and compliance records
- Support students with articulation, fluency, voice, expressive/receptive language, and social communication needs
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Active Florida SLP license
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; Clinical Fellows may be considered
- School-based or pediatric experience preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations
