Speech and Language Pathologist - Tacoma, WA

Key qualifications and experience desired:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences
- Current state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (or eligibility for WA licensure)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) strongly preferred
- ASHA certification preferred
- Previous experience in a school environment advantageous
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Role responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and indirect speech-language therapy to a diverse caseload of students
- Evaluate, diagnose, and document speech, language, and communication disorders
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans
- Attend and contribute to IEP meetings, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
- Engage with families and teachers to support students’ progress
- Maintain compliance with all reporting and documentation standards
These full-time contract roles cover two distinct leave periods:
- Immediate opening through June 17th
- Second opening beginning of May through June 17th
