Qualifications & Preferred Experience
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current New York SLP License
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; Clinical Fellows welcomed (if district approved)
- Previous school-based or pediatric experience ideal
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Primary Responsibilities
- Conduct speech and language evaluations and create individualized therapy plans
- Deliver direct and consultative services to students
- Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals
- Participate in IEP meetings and goal development
- Maintain organized documentation in accordance with compliance standards
- Address communication needs including articulation, language, fluency, and social interaction
