Key Experience and Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
- Valid state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Previous experience working in a school setting, especially with pre-K or preschool-aged children, is highly desirable
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach with other educators, staff, and families
- Familiarity with creating and implementing IEPs (Individualized Education Programs)
Core Responsibilities:
- Provide diagnostic assessments and deliver speech-language therapy services to students ages 3-5, both individually and in groups
- Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and families to develop and adjust student goals for optimal progress
- Maintain accurate records, write detailed progress reports, and participate in IEP meetings
- Employ a variety of strategies and resources to address a spectrum of speech, language, and communication needs
- Foster an inclusive, encouraging, and supportive environment for early learners to achieve their fullest potential
