Requirements & Desired Background:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active, valid SLP license for the state of Florida
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
- Previous school-based or pediatric experience strongly preferred
- Proficient communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage flexible caseloads and work independently as well as within a team
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students in accordance with their IEPs
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify communication needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Maintain accurate and timely student records and progress reports
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other staff to support student success
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide input for goal setting and progress updates
- Offer guidance and resources for classroom strategies and home support
