Pediatric School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Summerfield, Florida

Qualifications/Experience Needed:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current or eligible Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Consideration for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates
- State licensure or eligibility for Florida SLP licensure
- Experience or strong interest in pediatric and school-based settings
- Knowledge of IEP process, documentation, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Comfortable discussing prior work with or supervising SLPAs
- Commitment to on-site, in-person service delivery
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for K-12 students
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans for young learners with diverse needs
- Document student progress, maintain compliant records, and communicate with stakeholders
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to integrate therapy within the educational setting
- Participate in IEP meetings and assist in goal-setting for student development
- Provide support and guidance to SLPAs as appropriate to the role
