Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active SLP license in Florida (or eligibility)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred; strong Clinical Fellowship (CFY) candidates encouraged to apply
- Previous experience in school settings and/or pediatric caseloads highly valued
- Knowledge of evaluation, intervention, and documentation within educational frameworks
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience or willingness to supervise SLPA is a plus
- Commitment to working on-site as required
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders for a diverse school population
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educational teams
- Provide direct therapy services to students, tracking progress and adjusting strategies as needed
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation according to district and legal standards
- Consult with parents, teachers, and support staff to support student success
- Participate in team meetings, professional development, and district initiatives as required
