Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students' communication development near the vibrant Virginia Beach area. Four maternity leave coverage assignments are available for qualified Speech-Language Pathologists, each serving a single campus for the duration of the contract. These positions offer the chance to make a meaningful difference for students from Pre-K through 5th grade, working side-by-side with dedicated school staff in a collaborative, supportive environment.
Key Qualifications:
- Active and current Virginia SLP license
- Experience with school-aged caseloads, including assessment, intervention, and documentation
- Ability to work onsite throughout the contract (positions are not open to VOCO or Hybrid arrangements)
- Strong organizational and communication skills, with a commitment to student-centered service
- Capable of adapting to diverse student needs and effective collaboration with teachers and families
Position Details:
- Four available assignments, each covering a single school campus
- Caseloads range from PreK through 5th grade, with school hours from approximately 7:20 AM – 3:00 PM depending on the assignment
- Assignment durations begin as early as February 24, 2027, and extend through June 18, 2027
- Standard commitment includes 35 hours per week, allowing focus on quality and continuity of care

- Facilitate speech, language, and communication services to a diverse student population
- Conduct assessments, develop and implement IEPs, and deliver direct therapy
- Participate in school teams and meetings to ensure the best outcomes for students
