Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license (CCC-SLP)
- Experience in a school-based setting is highly preferred
- Strong ability to manage a varied caseload across multiple age groups
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Adaptability to adjust between preschool and elementary settings
- Dedication to evidence-based interventions and progress monitoring
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and indirect speech and language therapy to students at both the special education preschool and elementary school
- Conduct evaluations, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and participate in IEP meetings
- Collaborate closely with educators, families, and other support staff
- Maintain detailed progress records and adjust interventions to achieve measurable outcomes
- Offer consultative guidance to teachers and parents regarding effective communication strategies
- Help create a supportive and inclusive setting for all students
