Step into an exciting opportunity supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathologist for the 2026-2027 school year! This full-time contract position spans from August 2026 to June 2027, offering a fulfilling experience working within both a special education preschool and an elementary school setting. You’ll make a real impact providing comprehensive speech and language services while collaborating closely with fellow educators and support staff.
Your week will be split between the special education preschool and the elementary school, giving you the chance to serve diverse student populations and expand your skill set. School-based experience is highly valued, ensuring you can smoothly transition into the unique environment of educational speech therapy.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current CCC-SLP certification required
- Valid state licensure (or eligibility)
- Previous experience in a school setting preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Passion for helping children succeed
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy to students as outlined in their IEPs
- Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans
- Work closely with teachers, families, and other service providers
- Document progress and maintain accurate records
- Participate in IEP meetings, team discussions, and RTI processes
- Adapt therapy to support a range of needs, from early childhood to elementary learners
