Details:
- August 2026 through June 2027
- Full-time schedule: 35–37.5 hours per week
- Split assignment: 50% special education preschool, 50% elementary school
Key Qualifications:
- Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Previous school-based experience is highly preferred
- Experience working with preschool and elementary-aged children is a plus
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and group therapy addressing a range of speech and language disorders
- Conduct assessments and contribute to the development of IEPs to support student progress
- Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to create inclusive learning environments
- Maintain thorough records, progress notes, and required documentation
- Adapt therapy strategies to meet the unique needs of each student
- Provide support and guidance to teachers and caregivers regarding strategies for success
