Qualifications:
- Active SLP license and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
- Strong background in school-based speech-language therapy; previous school experience highly valued
- Ability to work independently across varied school settings
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Experience with early childhood or special education populations preferred
Responsibilities:
- Serve students at both a special education preschool and an elementary school, splitting your time equally
- Complete assessments, develop and implement IEPs, and provide targeted therapy for speech, language, and communication needs
- Engage with multidisciplinary teams, including teachers and parents, to optimize student outcomes
- Monitor and document student progress throughout the school year
- Adapt therapy methods and materials to meet diverse student needs
