Qualifications and Preferred Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid CCC-SLP (Certificate of Clinical Competence)
- Missouri state SLP licensure (or eligibility upon hire)
- Previous experience in a school setting strongly preferred
- Knowledge of evidence-based therapy practices for preschool and elementary ages
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to students in both preschool special education and elementary settings
- Conduct initial evaluations and re-evaluations, write and implement IEP goals specific to student needs
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, specialists, and families to ensure well-rounded student support
- Track student progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings
- Adapt to the dynamic needs of each educational environment
