Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Prior experience in a K-12 school setting is highly valued
- Strong assessment, diagnostic, and intervention skills
- Familiarity with developing and implementing IEPs
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide speech, language, and communication interventions to K-12 students as outlined in their IEPs
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and diagnoses of speech, language, and communication disorders
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and interdisciplinary teams to support student learning
- Track and document student progress, adjusting therapy plans as needed
- Participate in and contribute to IEP meetings, ensuring each student’s needs are addressed
- Engage in ongoing professional development and stay up-to-date on best practices
