This part-time, contract opportunity allows you to work directly with students who require the expertise and compassion of a certified SLP. Your role will be focused on delivering high-quality care onsite, one day each week, on the east side of Cleveland.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Valid Ohio SLP license and ODE (pupil services) license required
- Experience working with pediatric or school-aged populations, particularly those with severe or profound disabilities
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred, though strong CFY candidates will be considered
- Strong understanding of IEP processes and collaborative educational team approaches
- Commitment to on-site services, with the ability to provide hands-on care
- Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy for students with significant and complex needs
- Assess, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans
- Work collaboratively with special education staff, families, and other professionals
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with school and regulatory guidelines
- Contribute actively to IEP meetings and progress reporting
