Qualifications:
- Active Ohio Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license required
- Current Ohio Department of Education Pupil Services License (ODE)
- Experience or strong interest in serving pediatric, school-based populations
- Background working with severely or profoundly disabled students is highly valued
- CCC-SLP credential or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status accepted
- Specialized knowledge in both healthcare and educational SLP best practices
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to students with complex needs, strictly on-site
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to create and adjust Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Document progress, attend meetings, and communicate effectively with families and school staff
- Develop functional communication strategies tailored for each student
- Uphold ethical and professional standards set by both ASHA and state/local guidelines
