Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Active Virginia SLP license (required)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Previous experience in a school setting preferred
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Dedication to student growth and development
- Comfortable working exclusively onsite
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders for students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Maintain clear and timely documentation of student progress and interventions
- Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and families to support student success
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute expertise
- Deliver engaging therapy sessions designed for student achievement
- Advocate for student needs and provide education to staff as needed
What’s Offered:
- Full-time contract position, scheduled for 37.5 hours per week
- Stable assignment from ASAP through May 28, 2027
