Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist in Stone Mountain, GA
Step into a rewarding role providing vital speech-language pathology services to elementary students in a dynamic school environment. Two contract, full-time positions are available, offering the chance to work with PreK–5th grade students through both in-person and teletherapy formats. You’ll collaborate with supportive educators, engage with diverse caseloads, and play a key part in helping young learners build the communication skills they need to thrive.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active Georgia licensure (SLP-CCC or Clinical Fellowship Year—CFY—candidates encouraged to apply)
- Experience in school-based pediatrics preferred
- Familiarity with healthcare-driven speech-language therapy practices
- Comfortable with teletherapy platforms in addition to on-site service
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services to PreK–5th grade students according to IEP goals
- Manage and prioritize a caseload (approx. 40 students at one site and 50 at another)
- Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and document progress
- Collaborate with special education teams, parents, and administrators to support student achievement
- Participate in IEP meetings and help shape strategies for ongoing student success
- Utilize innovative, evidence-based techniques both in person and through teletherapy
