Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology required
- Active state licensure to practice as an SLP
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Familiarity with pediatric populations and school-based services preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders within a school-based setting
- Develop and update Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for students
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and school staff to support student progress
- Document interventions, progress, and maintain records according to school and legal requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and multidisciplinary team discussions
- Adapt therapy plans as needed to meet the diverse needs of pediatric students
