Pediatric School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Lithonia, Georgia
Step into a rewarding school-based Speech-Language Pathologist role supporting PreK through 5th grade students in a vibrant elementary setting. There are two current openings, each offering an engaging caseload: one with approximately 40 students and another with about 50 students, providing the chance to tailor interventions to diverse needs.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid Georgia SLP license (or eligibility)
- SLP-CCC or SLP-CF accepted
- Experience with pediatric and school-based populations preferred
- Strong knowledge of IEP processes, assessment tools, and therapeutic strategies
- Teletherapy experience a plus
- Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech and language assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for PreK-5th grade caseloads
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
- Maintain accurate records, document student progress, and participate in IEP meetings
- Deliver engaging therapy sessions—both group and individual—tailored to student goals
- Implement evidence-based interventions and monitor outcomes
- Foster a supportive, inclusive, and encouraging environment for all students
