Key Qualifications:
- Active Minnesota State SLP license required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Previous experience in a school setting preferred
- Ability to manage an elementary caseload and adapt quickly to changing assignments
- Excellent communication, documentation, and collaboration skills
What You'll Do:
- Deliver speech-language services as outlined in students’ IEPs
- Support Justice Alan Page Elementary for the initial assignment, covering a maternity leave through Thanksgiving break
- Transition to other buildings as coverage needs arise for additional leaves, demonstrating flexibility and initiative
- Provide compensatory services to students who missed support due to prior uncovered leaves
- Maintain accurate records and collaborate with educators, families, and colleagues
- Foster a supportive, inclusive environment that encourages student growth and confidence
This position offers a 37.5 hours per week schedule during the full school year, with consistency in hours and the unique chance to make a difference across multiple school communities.
