Key Qualifications:
- Current and active Minnesota State Speech Language Pathologist license
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Previous experience in school-based settings, especially with elementary-age students, is highly desirable
- Exceptional communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility to adapt and cover different roles as assignment needs change
What You’ll Do:
- Provide comprehensive speech and language therapy services to elementary students on your assigned caseload
- Begin by supporting a maternity leave at a dedicated site; following this, adapt to cover additional leaves at various schools or deliver compensatory services to students with missed sessions
- Conduct evaluations, create individualized education plans (IEPs), and track student progress using best practices
- Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure integrated student support
- Communicate regularly with families and caregivers, fostering strong partnerships to promote student success
