This opportunity focuses on delivering high-quality speech-language services within an elementary caseload in a vibrant, collaborative educational setting.
Initially, you will provide crucial coverage for a maternity leave, working alongside colleagues to support students at Justice Alan Page. Once that assignment concludes around Thanksgiving break, you'll continue making an impact in various schools as coverage needs arise. If there are no additional leaves, your skills will be essential in delivering compensatory services to students who missed sessions earlier in the year.
Qualifications & Experience Needed:
- Active Minnesota (MN) State Speech-Language Pathologist license
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required
- Experience working in school-based settings, ideally with elementary caseloads
- Prior success or interest in adapting to changing assignments and collaborating across multiple school sites
- Strong communication, organization, and relationship-building skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and treat a range of speech, language, and communication needs in elementary students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEP goals
- Document progress, complete required reports, and maintain compliance with school and state guidelines
- Work effectively with educators, families, and other service providers
- Adapt to changing assignments and support various buildings within the district as needs arise
