Both experienced Speech-Language Pathologists and Clinical Fellows are encouraged to apply. If you don’t currently hold Michigan licensure, you’ll still be considered, as long as you can secure it before the next school year begins.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid or pending license to practice in Michigan (support provided for those in process)
- ASHA certification or eligibility (CFYs welcome)
- Prior school-based experience is valued but not required
- Ability to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Strong communication and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and assessments for students K-12, identifying and addressing speech, language, and communication needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEPs tailored to each student’s goals
- Deliver both individual and group speech therapy sessions in line with best practices
- Maintain clear, timely documentation of student progress and services provided
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, families, and other educational professionals
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to educational strategies that support student success
