Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates considered
  • Experience with pediatrics and knowledge of school-based speech therapy best practices
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
  • Ability to adapt therapy to diverse student needs and learning styles

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct evaluations and assessments for students with speech, language, and communication needs
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in conjunction with educators and families
  • Deliver direct speech and language therapy services individually and in small groups
  • Monitor progress and document outcomes following school and federal guidelines
  • Consult and collaborate with teachers, counselors, and parents to create supportive learning environments
  • Maintain accurate records and contribute to IEP meetings as required
