Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state licensure in Speech-Language Pathology (or eligibility to obtain prior to start date)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong CFY candidates may be considered
- Experience in pediatric settings, preferably within schools
- Strong knowledge of IEP development, therapy documentation, and progress monitoring
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations to identify speech, language, and communication needs for students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans (IEPs) in partnership with educators and families
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to elementary and/or secondary students
- Document progress and maintain thorough, compliant records
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to promote student success within the classroom environment
- Serve as a resource to teachers and parents regarding communication development and strategies
