Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Active state licensure as an SLP or eligibility to obtain prior to start.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred, but Clinical Fellows (CFY) are also encouraged to apply.
- Previous experience in school-based settings is valuable, though new graduates with a strong interest in education are welcome.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- A passion for contributing to student growth and collaborating within multidisciplinary teams.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and provide therapy for students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and adjust treatment approaches as needed.
- Participate in meetings with educators, administrators, and families to review student goals and strategies.
- Offer consultation and training to teachers and staff to facilitate supportive classroom environments.
- Stay current on best practices and state regulations in speech-language pathology.
