Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in San Antonio, TX
Step into a meaningful opportunity supporting K–8 students as a dedicated speech-language pathologist in a dynamic Texas school setting. This contract, full-time position spans the 2026–2027 academic year and offers a hybrid schedule, blending both on-site and remote work. You’ll play an essential role in shaping young learners’ communication skills and working collaboratively with campus administrators and staff.
Key Qualifications:
- Current and active Texas SLP license (Texas Dept. of Licensing and Regulation)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA, if hours are completed
- Experience or comfort working with K–8 populations
- Bilingual or monolingual SLPs welcome
- Ability to supervise SLPA staff
- References required as part of credentialing process
- Commitment to working on-site at least two days per week for supervision and team collaboration
Role Responsibilities:
- Oversee and support an SLPA providing therapy to a caseload of approximately 110 students
- Manage cases, conduct evaluations, and ensure compliance with all student IEPs and district policies
- Provide on-campus SLPA supervision at least two times per week, building relationships with campus administrators and staff
- Complete assessments and participate in meetings as needed
- Maintain thorough documentation of student progress and required reporting
- Ensure availability during student hours (generally 7:30am–4pm with a 30-minute lunch break)
