School Speech Language Pathologist Assistant | West Springfield, Massachusetts

Qualifications:
- Valid SLPA license issued by the state of Massachusetts
- Experience or interest in high school settings, particularly with students who have ASD or learning differences
- Strong commitment to personalized, student-centered learning
- Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational abilities
- Positive, solution-oriented approach to supporting students' success
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy services to students in accordance with individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate closely with Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP), teachers, and support staff to create and implement meaningful interventions
- Support social communication, language development, and functional communication skills for students with a wide range of abilities
- Document student progress and participate in team meetings
- Foster a nurturing and inclusive environment where each student feels valued and empowered
