Required Skills & Experience:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Previous experience working in a school-based setting or with school-aged children is highly desirable
- Strong preference for candidates with an active North Carolina SLP license
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized and group speech-language therapy for students as outlined in IEPs
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop dynamic, student-centered treatment plans
- Collaborate closely with educators, administrators, and families to maximize student support
- Maintain accurate records and data collection for progress monitoring and compliance
- Participate actively in IEP meetings, offering expertise and advocacy for student needs
- Stay current with best practices in the field of speech-language pathology through ongoing professional development
