Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) strongly preferred
- Experience delivering speech-language therapy in school settings
- Active North Carolina SLP license is strongly preferred; eligibility to obtain required
- Strong understanding of IEP processes, compliance, and data-driven practice
- Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy to a caseload of around 43 students in a supportive K–5 school environment
- Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations, document progress, and update goals as needed
- Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and families on IEP teams
- Maintain timely and compliant records of all services and interventions
- Consult with classroom educators to support generalization of skills throughout the school day
- Deliver therapy and consultation services in accordance with school district and state guidelines
