Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Morganton, NC

This contract opportunity spans from August 10, 2026, through May 28, 2027, working full-time Monday through Friday (37.5 hours weekly). You’ll make a meaningful difference at Nebo Elementary School, serving a manageable caseload of approximately 43 students.
Your expertise as an SLP will be valued as you help young learners reach their full communication potential in a supportive school environment. Candidates holding the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) and prior school-based SLP experience are especially encouraged to apply.
Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Previous experience working in school settings highly preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Active North Carolina SLP license (candidates with current licensure strongly preferred)
- Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 43 elementary students
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Deliver direct and consultative speech and language therapy services
- Monitor student progress and maintain thorough documentation in compliance with state and district guidelines
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to foster communication growth
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute actively to student support teams
