Step into an impactful role supporting K-12 students’ communication needs in a welcoming educational setting. A contract opportunity has opened for an experienced, in-person Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for the 26/27 school year. This assignment, based within a group of schools in a supportive district, offers the chance to provide direct services across multiple buildings with a caseload described as easy and consisting of low-behavior students.

You will take over from a virtual provider and deliver in-person services, enabling you to engage and connect more deeply with your students. The district values collaboration, making this an ideal environment to further your expertise alongside dedicated educators and specialists.

Desired Experience & Qualifications:

  • Holds active SLP licensure meeting all requirements for school-based practice
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
  • Previous experience working in school settings, preferably across K-12 populations
  • Confident in building relationships with students, families, and staff
  • Ability to manage a flexible caseload in multiple buildings
  • Commitment to maintaining accurate documentation and records
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct screenings, evaluations, and deliver therapy for students with identified speech/language needs
  • Collaborate with general and special education staff across multiple school sites
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Consult with teachers, families, and related service providers
  • Support students’ academic and social development through communication-focused interventions
  • Maintain consistent and thorough case notes

This is a full-time position (37.5–40 hours weekly), and the district’s welcoming atmosphere ensures a positive professional experience.
