Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
  • Current state licensure or eligibility for state licensure in Oregon
  • Experience working in a school setting is preferred, though clinical fellows or those with relevant pediatric experience are encouraged to apply
  • Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments for students across grade levels
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to student needs
  • Provide direct and consultative therapy services to students with diverse speech and language challenges
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, special education staff, and parents to foster whole-child success
  • Monitor student progress, adjust plans as necessary, and keep detailed records according to school and regulatory guidelines
  • Participate actively in team meetings, staff development, and ongoing professional learning
