Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist in Springfield, MA

In this position, you'll supervise an SLPA while working closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver personalized interventions beyond traditional classroom settings. Your guidance will help students develop communication, social, and life skills—key foundations for their independence and future success.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Active Massachusetts SLP license required
- Experience working in school-based settings and with ASD or related learning differences
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) welcome
- Strong commitment to evidence-based practice and individualized education
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and mentor an SLPA within a supportive high school environment
- Assess, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's needs
- Collaborate with educators, therapists, and families to create strategies that foster growth in communication and life skills
- Maintain accurate documentation and participate in IEP meetings
- Engage in ongoing professional growth through mentorship and clinical advisory resources
