Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current and valid SLP license (or eligibility) for the state
- Previous experience in a school-based setting is highly desirable
- Ability to develop and implement IEPs
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Passion for supporting K-12 students with a variety of diagnoses
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and screenings to identify students requiring speech and language services
- Develop and deliver individualized therapy aligned with IEP goals
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school and state guidelines
- Consult with educators, administrators, and parents to support student success
- Participate in IEP meetings, team collaborations, and related activities
- Offer guidance and resources for strategies to support communication needs in the classroom
