Pediatric School Speech Language Pathologist - Antioch, CA

Responsibilities include conducting assessments, developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs), providing direct and consultative speech-language therapy, and collaborating with teachers, parents, and other school staff. You’ll track progress, maintain thorough documentation, and help foster a supportive, inclusive educational environment. Key Qualifications:
- Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or eligibility to obtain
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or current participation in Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Background in working with pediatric and K-12 student populations
- Experience in school-based speech-language services preferred
- Familiarity with IEP development and implementation
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders for students
- Create and document individualized therapy plans
- Deliver engaging therapy sessions in individual or group settings
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and interdisciplinary teams
- Participate in IEP meetings and advocate for student needs
- Maintain accurate student records and progress reports
