Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
- Valid state licensure to practice as an SLP
- Previous experience in a school-based setting is highly valued
- Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, staff, and families
Role Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for students as needed
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that align with IEP goals
- Provide both individual and group therapy sessions, targeting a range of speech and language disorders
- Document student progress and maintain accurate case records in accordance with school policies
- Partner with teachers and parents, sharing strategies and resources to promote student gains
- Participate in eligibility, IEP, and multidisciplinary team meetings
- Stay current with best practices and continuing education relevant to speech-language pathology
