Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active SLP license valid in Texas
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required
- Previous experience in a school environment preferred
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to develop individualized treatment plans and work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for students with diverse needs
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student goals
- Deliver direct therapy services, both individually and in groups, focused on speech, language, and communication development
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to ensure students’ progress and provide strategies for generalization of skills in the classroom
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting interventions as needed
- Participate in IEP meetings, team conferences, and ongoing professional development
- Offer guidance and resources to staff and parents to support students’ communication needs throughout the school day
