Desired Qualifications & Experience:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited university
- Active state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, though strong Clinical Fellows are encouraged to apply
- Previous experience in a school setting is advantageous but not a requirement
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to fostering inclusive and supportive learning environments
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with teachers, parents, and interdisciplinary teams
- Provide direct therapy services, monitor student progress, and document results in compliance with school and state regulations
- Work closely with educators and families to deliver training and support on communication strategies
- Maintain timely and accurate records as required by legal and ethical guidelines
- Participate in team meetings, IEP reviews, and professional development as needed
