Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Current state licensure (or eligibility) as an SLP
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but clinical fellows are also encouraged to apply
- School-based experience is a plus, though not required
- Strong communication abilities and a collaborative, student-centered approach
- Flexibility and adaptability for working with diverse student populations
Core Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in students across multiple age groups and grade levels
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Provide direct therapy services—both group and individual sessions—to help students reach their communication goals
- Offer guidance and resources to teachers, staff, and families to support students’ progress in and out of the classroom
- Maintain thorough documentation in accordance with school and state requirements
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to building an inclusive and supportive school culture
