Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid SLP licensure in Texas (or eligibility)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but accepting strong CFY candidates
- Previous experience in school settings is highly valued, but clinical and broader backgrounds also welcome
- Effective communication and collaboration skills for partnering with educators, families, and students
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive, growth-oriented atmosphere for learners of varying needs and backgrounds
Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and provide therapy for students with speech, language, voice, or fluency disorders
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain accurate records, track student progress, and provide regular updates to teachers and parents
- Support general education and special education classrooms with resources and strategies
- Participate in IEP meetings and offer professional insights to guide student success
- Use evidence-based practices to deliver direct and consultative services across all grade levels
