Step into a rewarding opportunity to support young learners as a Speech-Language Pathologist serving elementary students, including those in early childhood. In this contract role, you’ll provide essential speech and language services to students in grades 1-5, as well as work with 3- to 5-year-olds in a non-EBRO setting. Collaborate closely with educators, caregivers, and other professionals to foster communication development and academic success.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
  • Valid Speech-Language Pathology license/or eligibility in Texas
  • Previous experience working with elementary-age students and early childhood populations preferred
  • Strong knowledge of IEP process, assessment tools, and therapy techniques for diverse needs
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for a caseload of approximately 58 students in grades 1-5, as well as preschoolers (ages 3-5)
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans in accordance with students’ IEP goals
  • Provide direct therapy and consultative services using evidence-based practices
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, administrators, and families to support student progress
  • Maintain timely and detailed documentation, including evaluations, session notes, and progress reports
  • Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions to advocate for student needs
