Key Qualifications:
- Active and valid Speech-Language Pathologist license in Texas
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
- Experience working in a school setting, especially with primary and elementary age groups
- Skilled in supervising SLPAs, performing comprehensive speech-language evaluations, and facilitating ARD meetings
- Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills
Core Responsibilities:
- Provide direct supervision for Speech-Language Pathology Assistants
- Conduct thorough speech-language assessments and compile evaluation documentation
- Facilitate and participate in ARD (Admission, Review, and Dismissal) meetings as needed
- Act as a consultative resource—no direct therapy sessions required
- Foster positive collaboration with teachers, administrators, and families to enhance student outcomes
