Qualifications/Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Texas SLP license required
- Clinical Certificate of Competence (CCC) preferred; open to CFs
- School-based SLP experience is strongly valued
- Background in managing caseloads of 60+ students is ideal
- Willingness and ability to supervise (for CCC holders)
- Experience collaborating with teachers, staff, and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech and language assessment and therapy services
- Maintain and document progress on student caseloads
- Develop, implement, and update IEP goals in accordance with district guidelines
- Work seamlessly with multidisciplinary teams to support student achievement
- Offer supervision and mentorship to assist SLPAs or Clinical Fellows (if applicable)
- Adapt techniques and interventions for diverse learning needs
- Occasionally split hours between two nearby school sites
